Discipline is a condition that is created and formed through a process of a series of behaviors that show adherence to a rule. Discipline is a student benchmark for the extent to which a student can manage time and comply with class rules that apply properly. Talking about the current reality, there are still some female students who have not been able to manage time and obey the rules properly. This could be due to the lack of exemplary teachers of the moral creed and the lack of self-awareness of class VIII students From the results of initial observations made by researchers, through interviews with one of the aqidah moral teachers at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Darul Huda Mayak Tonatan Ponorogo, information was obtained that some students at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Darul Huda, the discipline of the students had not been maximized. This is indicated by some of the following evidence: coming to the madrasa late, bringing textbooks not according to schedule and not doing assignments . This study aims to: (1) determine the significance of the influence of the teacher's example in fostering the quality of students at MI Miftahul Ulum Bira Timur on student discipline in the Aqidah Akhlak subject; (2) determine the significance of the influence of student self-awareness on student discipline in the subject of moral ethics, (3) determine the significance of the influence of the teacher's exemplary and student self-awareness on student discipline in the subject of moral ethics. To answer this question, this study was designed using a quantitative approach, where the data is in the form of numbers. The population in this study was class VIII at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Darul Huda, which consisted of 280 female students. The samples taken by researchers were 155 respondents. The data collection instrument is by using a questionnaire and documentation. Based on the data analysis, it was found that: (1) the teacher's example had a significant effect on the discipline of female students in the Aqidah Akhlak class VIII subject at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Darul Huda Mayak Tonatan Ponorogo, with a percentage of 5%. (2)
