Abstract

Problem solving skills are important skills for every person to master so that they can easily solve problems in their life. However, the test results for problem solving and collaboration abilities of MI Ar Raudlah students are still low because they are not familiar with problem solving problems and the learning model used is a direct learning model so there is a lack of interaction between students. The aim of the research is to see the influence of the problem-based learning model on students' problem-solving and collaboration competencies. The type of research used is quantitative with experimental methods. This research design uses a one group pre-test post-test design. The techniques for collecting data used were tests and questionnaires. Meanwhile, techniques for analyzing data for this research include validity tests, reliability tests, normality tests, paired sample t tests, and MANOVA tests. The MANOVA results show that the significance value is <0.05, so it can be concluded that there is an influence of the PBL model on students' problem solving and collaboration abilities
