Abstract

Thisresearchaimedtoknowthe effectiveness of tiktok as media on students’writingabilityindescripitive at Banat 2 Course. The method of this research was Quasi-experimental research. The sample of thisresearchconsistedofexperimentclass were30students. The sample were taken by RandomSamplingTechnique. Based on the findings, it was found that the value t-test in writing descriptive textis greater than the ratio on t-table( 3.770) > (2.756). Based on the table it canconcludedthatthealternativehypotesisisaccepted.Itmeansthattherewasincreasedin the students’ writing descriptive before and aftergave treatment used interactive wrriting model. Therefore that the result of thepre-test and post-test was significance different. Based on the descriptive statistic,thepre-testand post-testprovethepost-testis higher.Basedon theexplanation, using Tiktok as mediancanincrease the students’ writing abilityindescriptive text.
