Abstract

Sultoni, Ahmad. 2018.Jargon in the Animal Lovers Community. Indonesian Education Department. STKIP PGRI Bangkalan. Keywords:The form of jargon, the Jargon of the Animal Lovers community, and the Meaning of Jargon Humans needed other human beings in their daily lives, therefore they usually join in a group. Generally, humans gathered because of several things such as similarity of hobbies, jobs, interests and so on. In Indonesia, many communities presented themselves as a reflection of one of the animal lover communities such as the sugar glider community, the civet community, and the reptile community in Bangkalan. This type of research was a qualitative approach. Data collection used the similiar method with competent free-seeing techniques. Analyzing data used the extra lingual equivalent method with HBS, HBB, HBSP techniques. Analyzing data was done used the following procedures, (1) observation, (2) listening, (3) choosing and sorting out the main things, (4) writing data. The forms of jargon found in the community of animal lovers sugar gliders, ferrets, reptiles included (1) abbreviations, (2) acronyms, (3) phrases and verbs, these three forms can be found in both Indonesian and foreign languages. While the meaning of jargon was the way to found meaning with (1) the abbreviated form, which was to find meaning by looked for the abbreviation, (2) the form of acronym, which was found meaning by found the meaning of the acronym, (3) the form of phrases and verbs, that was to find its meaning by interpreted foreign languages used in the community.
