Abstract

ABSTRAK Rahmah, Alifatur. 2018. Analisis Kesalahan Siswa MTs kelas VIII Dalam Menyelesaikan Masalah Lingkaran Ditijau Dari Gaya Kognitif Reflektif Dan Impulsif. Skripsi. Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika.STKIP PGRI Bangkalan. Pembimbing: (1) Didik Hermanto, M.Pd, dan Moh. Affaf, M.Si. Kata Kunci :Kesalahan, Masalah Lingkaran, Gaya Reflektif dan Impulsif Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendekripsikan analisis kesalahan siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah lingkaran berdasarkan gayakognitif reflektif dan impulsif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Instrumendalam penelitian ini terdiri dari instrumen utama yaitu peneliti itu sendiri, dan instrument bantu yaitu tes gaya kognitif, tugas penyelesaian masalah, dan pedoman wawancara. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik tes dan teknik wawancara berbasis tugas. Sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan menggunakan modelMiles & Huberman yang meliputi reduksi, penyajian dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa kesalahan siswa dalam menyelesaiakan masalahlingkaranberdasarkan gaya kognitif yaitu siswa dengan gaya kognitif reflektif dan impulsif dominan melakukan kesalahan fakta, konsep, dan prosedur. Faktor yang menyebabkan siswa melakukan kesalahan dalam menyelesaikan masalah adalah: a) faktor kealpaan(lupa dengan konsep yang telah dipelajari sebelumnya). b) faktor kecerobohan. This study aims to describe students’ error analysis in solving circle problems based on reflective and impulsive cognitive style. The type of research is descriptive qualitative. The Instrument in this study consists of the main instrument, i.e. the researcher himself, and the complementary instrumentsare cognitive style test, problem solving task, and interview guide. The data collection techniques in this study is using test techniques and task-based interview techniques. Meanwhile the data analysis techniques used is using Miles & Huberman model which includes reduction, presentation and conclusion. The result of this research can be concluded that student with cognitive reflective and impulsive style dominantlymade errors fact, concepts, and procedure. Factors that cause the student to make mistakes in solving the problems are: (a) the negligence factor (forget the discussed materials). b) carelessness factor.
